Hack to School Night
1. What is this class about?
Dr.Prestons class is an open-source learning class wear we do blogs daily that opens our minds and makes us think in a new way. This class also lets us blog about what we like and gives a new twist in traditional learning.
2. What is the easiest part of this class?
The easiest part of this class is our journal topics because we are basically never wrong and we can write about anything we think the topic is about.
3. What is the hardest part of this class?
The hardest part of this class doing all your blogs on time and having them don and posted.
4. What have you learned so far?
I have learned how to make a blog and how an open-source learning class is also the skills it takes to be yourself and an environment were you told what to do.
5. What is your Big Question?
My big question is why do we have to pay to be educated when everyone can be educated for free and do amazing things for the world?

Conscience of a Hacker
Reading through Conscience of a hacker manifesto I realized that this reading connected to me in a way I can't really explain. But what I can say that its a whole page of how our world is corrupted in a way that people now seem as normal and find to be good. But I always believed that people were always wrong. This man has hacked his thinking and made himself believe that there's more then just lies.
Today I asked a Question
Today I had an opportunity to ask a question this question was The Big Question that I always wanted to ask and wanted an answer to. I got many ideas and responses in why Collge isn't free many say they won't try hard in school others say people will be lazy and not care anymore. but I believe people should get the opportunity and decision if they want to go to college and pursue a career. This isn't the only thing that happened people finally felt comfortable in asking a question without being shy or embarrassed.

I AM NOT [?] ENTITLED TO MY OPINION Second Socratic Seminar
One person right makes someones else's obligation.
Just because someone has there right to there opinion doesn't mean you are obligated to believe it.
The statement " I'm entitled to my opinion" cuts many conversations short
Ask many questions even if you bug someone

Our First Socratic seminar
The Socratic method today started out our lecture and gave us a new way of taking and asking a question for example this weekend I didn't get to read Mr.Prestons blog post about an answer we had to say in class when he asked us I, unfortunately, didn't know what to say and was the one who got picked on he used the Socratic method by asking me clarifying questions and why I didn't read it, of course, I got red and felt like I was being put on blast bu,t to him it wasn't what he was trying to do he was just trying to get a better picture of why I didn't read his post which was what The man the myth the legend the genius, and philosopher Socartices did he asked too many questions and later was killed for influencing the youth in a bad way. Some other key thing that was said where about our journal entry that involved love which I didn't get involved in because it felt like the girls dominated this topic and I felt scared to ruin the moment for them.
The Right to Your Opinion
Today while reading " The Right to your opinion" I realized how wrong I was and how I all ways assumed that I'm "entitled to my opinions" which let me clarify now is completely false. Many of us today don't even have the tiniest idea of what our rights are. I know you may be asking yourself but this is referring to British rights/ laws but this is a universal misconception that we need to know as kids. But lets also put t this way if someone does believe they have to rights to there opinion you as a person don't have to agree with them and could contradict or even challenge there thinking this is the wonderful right of freedom of speech which thinking of it might have its drawback to oops.

SOCRATIC METHOD
while surfing the web I came across this one excerpt from Dr.Prestons Blog that caught my eye it was called the Socratic Method or dialectic, at first it didn't even seem like a method but a way we speak every day of our life without even knowing we are using a skill that for many is tough to do when thinking about doing it. When first seeing this I thought to my self it's really just asking more question and assuring what your thoughts are and giving them more meaning to the context of the conversation To put it into as little words as possible the Socratic method is just a way to pursue truth. I as a student and individual seem as if this is a way of speaking to someone more in-depth and to figure out what your goals and values really are.
